Winter Ice Storm 2017

January the 21st, 2017 we had an ice storm in Oklahoma that did a lot of damage to trees,  power outages, and tragically a lineman's death trying to restore power in the panhandle.  Even with all the destruction there was some beauty in this storm.  When everything is covered with ice that glitters and changes the world to a white winter wonderland, it is the perfect time to get out the camera and catch some of that beauty! The temperature, was just a little below freezing, so thankfully the roads in our area were not icy, but was just cold enough to cover trees, fences, and grass in sparkling ice.
