Once Again, Catching Up, February and March!

Here goes!  Weather has been up and down, but hope to get out and get some spring pics before long!!
Returning home on a rainy afternoon after a doctor's visit and little road trip with my daughter-in-law to OKC.

Oh, what a beautiful morning!!

Just a sliver of moon!

Interesting vapor trails in the sunset!

Another lovely sunset in our town!

In the morning mist!

Dove waiting for it's morning feed on the patio!

Hazy sunrise morning after devastating fires west of us!

Just  a bit of spring blooming in my yard!

Layers of color over our town!

Waking to the glory of morning!

Not the best pic.  Had to take it from my window so as not to scare the little creatures away!  Not hail or snow just sitting in the flower petals from the crab apple tree.

New wheat shining in the sun after several days of cloudy rainy weather.  Thankful for the rain which we needed so badly!

Putting our little town to bed!

God's Beauty All Around!

Sunsets, sunrise, moonrise..........
Mysterious full moon last night!

Sad about this!  Fire started down our beautiful Thunder Road, possibly by a tossed cigarette! Be careful!!!

Still have beauty though down this scenic drive!

One very foggy morning!

Our town so pretty in pink!

Notice the hummingbird nests hanging from the bare branches!

A recent colorful sunset!

Winter Ice Storm 2017

January the 21st, 2017 we had an ice storm in Oklahoma that did a lot of damage to trees,  power outages, and tragically a lineman's death trying to restore power in the panhandle.  Even with all the destruction there was some beauty in this storm.  When everything is covered with ice that glitters and changes the world to a white winter wonderland, it is the perfect time to get out the camera and catch some of that beauty! The temperature, was just a little below freezing, so thankfully the roads in our area were not icy, but was just cold enough to cover trees, fences, and grass in sparkling ice.
Here are a few pics of the beauty in the storm.
