Graduations!

We have attended several graduations this year, one grandson, Tate, a senior, graduated from Bethany High,  and granddaughters, Ali, a senior graduated from OBA in Enid, and Katie, an 8th grader graduated to high school also at OBA in Enid.  Very proud of these special grandkids as they prepare to move on with their education and lives into the adult world!  Wish all of you the best in the years ahead!!

Another Smokey Sunset And New Little Neighbor To The North!!

We continue to have wild fires west and north of us.  So thankful for all the hard working volunteer firefighters working hard to keep people and property safe. Many of these firefighters are friends and acquaintences, and we pray for their safety in the heat and strong winds that they battle.
One result of the fires is the smoke which makes for some pretty colorful sunsets. This sunset is one that I caught last night just as the sun was going down, and on another note, we have a new, fun, adorable little neighbor not quite a month old! Check this little guy out!

Welcome To Dust Bowl 2014

Still no rain, lots of very windy, dusty days.  Starting to water the yard to get my lawn to green out and have been watering trees and bushes  for awhile trying to save them. It's amazing how the wheat field across the street can stay so pretty and green with this drought we have going on!
Surely one day soon we will get some of that wonderful, refreshing rain!
